We have noticed that many ezines that are published with Zinester,
despite of being richly formatted, have very long text lines. This
makes reading them very inconvenient in many email clients. The main
reason for this is that some publishers don't wrap their texts at all
- this can happen when text is directly typed into the posting form or
when a text editor is used with a wrap-by-screen-edge function on.
Even if some email clients also have an auto-wrap function, others may
not. And surely they wouldn't wrap your text if one is subscribed to an
HTML version. It may look like this:
Can you read this? The same result will be in your Internet
browser.
That is why we have set off for a quest to find a free text
editor with an easy-to-use text wrap feature - and we found it! The
editor is called ConTEXT and it is absolutely free. Being a
professional programmer's editor, it is rather advanced, but is only
1 Mb in size!
You can download a free copy of ConTEXT at their
home page.
