Using ConTEXT to Format Your Newsletter

To have your text wrapped in ConTEXT, choose

Options/Environment Options/Editor

from the menu bar. Set the Right margin parameter to the number of symbols you want your text to wrap at. Email standards require text to be wrapped at 72 symbols. We recommend 70, like shown on the screenshot below.

As soon as you have this done, click Apply and then OK to close the window. Now, locate a button in the toolbar that says "Word wrap" (shown with red cirlce on the screenshot below). Make sure it is pressed. A line will appear showing where your word wrap edge is.

Now, if you start typing, your text will be auto-wrapped by 70 symbols.

What if you need to wrap an existing block? We have opened one of our ezines in ConTEXT to show you how it works. As you may see on the screenshot above, the text lines are a lot longer than 70 symbols.

To fix that situation, set your cursor to the first line of the block you want to format (shown with red arrow on screenshot above), and press Ctrl+B. Your block should be wrapped at 70 digits now (see screenshot below).
